One kind of credit, three ways to get it.
Videos and lessons are paid for in credits. Every plan gets them; a plan also sets which models, voices and lengths you can use.
Examples use the default voice and no extras. Prices in US dollars; taxes may apply.
How credits work
- What does a video cost?
- Its price shows as you set it up, from its length, the model, how hard it thinks, the voice and the extras you turn on, and it is charged when the video starts. Longer videos cost more per minute: the model rereads more as it goes.
- And a lesson?
- A lesson is charged each minute for what that minute used, so a quiet minute costs little. The page shows about what a minute costs and how many credits you have left; when they run out, the lesson ends.
- What if a video fails?
- You get its credits back, all of them, without asking. Stop one yourself and you get back the part that was not made yet.
- Do unused credits carry over?
- A plan's credits renew on each billing date, and those not used by then expire. The welcome credits and the credits you buy never expire.
- Can I buy more credits?
- Yes, on any plan, from $10 at 900 credits a dollar: $10, $25 or $50. They are kept until used, and spent after your plan's. A plan gives more credits for each dollar: 1,000 on Student, 1,200 on Creator.
- Can prices change?
- What a video or a lesson minute costs in credits may change as models and voices do; the credits you have keep their value.
